Submit driver documents and review their status

Scan a license or read a medical card, check the captured details, attach required evidence, and follow the status of your own compliance documents.

Use Profile → Compliance Documents to submit documents for your own driver profile and see their current status. The forms and required evidence come from your company’s document setup.

Availability: This guide describes the Driver App preview documented on September 19, 2026. These changes have not yet been released through the App Store or Google Play. License scanning and medical-card capture are included in this preview.

Check documents already on file

Open Your Documents and review the document type, status, number, expiry date, and any reviewer message shown. Use Refresh or refresh the list after the office has reviewed a submission.

A submitted document may await review. A rejected document can include a reason from the reviewer. Read that reason before preparing a corrected submission. An expired or suspended document needs follow-up with the office; uploading a file does not by itself establish that you are cleared to drive.

If the form has changed since a document was filed, the list may say so. Ask the office which current form and evidence are needed.

Complete a document form

  1. Under Submit a Document, select the appropriate type.
  2. Fill in the fields shown. Fields marked with an asterisk are required; different document types may ask for different information.
  3. Review the dates, document number, issuing authority, and any other fields offered by that form.
  4. Add the required evidence. The form tells you whether it accepts one file or multiple files.
  5. Review any notes and captured details, then tap Submit once.
  6. Check the resulting entry in Your Documents and follow any review instructions.

Evidence can be PDF, JPEG, or PNG, up to 10 MB per file and 25 MB total in the app. If a form is missing, unavailable, or cannot be completed with the controls shown, contact the office.

Scan a driver’s license

Open the license shortcut from Profile, or select the available license form in Compliance Documents and choose its barcode-scan action.

  1. Allow camera access when prompted and scan the barcode on the license.
  2. Review the parsed information. Correct any details the review screen allows you to edit, and check the issuing jurisdiction against the license itself.
  3. Tap Use These Details on iPhone or Use Reviewed Details on Android to return to the document form.
  4. Review the filled fields and the Captured Details or Scanned Details section. Correct or remove information that should not be sent.
  5. Attach any required evidence separately, then tap Submit on the document form.

Scanning helps fill the form; it does not submit the document or attach a license image. You can also enter the form manually. The issuing jurisdiction may differ from the driver’s residential address, so check both carefully.

Read or enter a medical card

Open the medical-card shortcut from Profile, or choose the available medical-card form. Use the photo/text-recognition option to help read the card, or enter its information manually.

Review and correct the extracted name, dates, certificate information, and any other details offered. Use Use These Details on iPhone or Use Reviewed Details on Android to return to the document form, then check the fields and captured details again.

A photo used for text recognition is not automatically attached as evidence. Add the required file in the document form before submitting. Recognition can misread names and dates, so compare them with the original card.

Notes, recapture, and interrupted submissions

Captured details that do not have a matching form field appear in editable notes for the reviewer. Review those details alongside your optional notes; together they may total up to 4,000 characters. If you scan again, check the result alongside any edits you have already made.

If an upload result is uncertain, choose Check Your Documents. If the document appears, close the form. Only use I Checked — Start a New Submission after checking that it is missing. If the result is still unclear, ask the office before uploading it again.

Changing the signed-in driver or company closes the old form. Reopen Compliance Documents under the correct profile before entering or submitting information.
