Use Tools → Quote Calculator to evaluate a trip, then choose Calculate Quote. Review Price Breakdown for the base fare and contributing charges. Select Debug Info before calculating when you need the rule trace to explain the result.
Use Tools → Quotes to find a stored quote, expand its row, and review Modification History. Keep its reference with your test inputs so another person can investigate the same result.
Build a useful test set
- A typical point-to-point trip for each important vehicle or service choice.
- Both directions of a zone-to-zone trip; a Between zones rate is directional.
- Pickup-only and drop-off-only matches for an Either end rate.
- An hourly or distance example when those pricing paths apply.
- A weekday and weekend trip, or trips on each side of a time condition, when checking a variation.
- A case just inside and just outside an important boundary.
Compare the total, currency, vehicle and contributing pricing decisions with the expected result. Use the same inputs before and after a rate change. A new calculation uses the current saved configuration; it does not test unsaved changes still open in a rate editor.

Currency and saved prices
New calculations use the company’s configured currency. Saved quotes keep their recorded currency, so an older quote and a new calculation may need a currency check as well as an amount comparison. If Studio cannot determine the currency, resolve the reported problem before retrying; a failed calculation is not a zero-price quote.
When an accepted onboarding quote is attached to a booking, its accepted price and version must still match. If the quote has since changed or been cancelled, refresh the quote and booking and review the latest state. Do not assume a saved reference guarantees that an earlier price can still be accepted.
