Open Zones → Explorer from the Studio sidebar to review the areas used by pricing. Give saved zones recognizable names and check their boundaries, especially around airports and neighboring service areas. For a composite zone, check the underlying areas it includes.
Explorer supports reference and composite zones, Import from ZIP-code CSV or TSV files, and Export to CSV. A saved zone defines an area; the price belongs to a rate that uses it.
Choose where a rate applies
In Pricing → Rate Plans, open a plan’s Base Fares tab. Under Zone Based Rates → List, choose Add zone rate or open an existing rate. The Where it applies section offers:

Between zones is directional. A downtown-to-airport fare does not automatically cover airport-to-downtown trips. When you select several origin and destination zones, the rate applies from any selected origin to any selected destination.
Each scope can use Flat fare, Per-mile, or Hourly pricing. Use Conditions to narrow when the rate applies, such as weekends or a time window. An end time earlier than the start continues into the next day.
After a geography or scope change, calculate trips clearly inside, clearly outside, and near the boundary. For Either end, test pickup-only and drop-off-only matches. For Between zones, test both directions. Review the quote breakdown to confirm the intended rate was used.
